Are those Carolina Reapers?

The package says that they are Carolina reapers and I think they are indeed. But I am a noob at identifying peppers so is it true?

yes, they may be .. we all got familiar with the classic shape of Carolina, but on a plant they come in various shapes (few of them come more elongated) and sizes .. based on my experience.. had 3 plants, all of them produces variations

To clarify, I won’t eat them (even though the package says “eat me”). I will try to germinate their seeds and make a bonchi. My dad wants to eat them even though he doesn’t eat spicy food so I have to hide them from him.

    It’s plausible they are Reapers.

There are quite a few varieties that look exactly like this, so we can’t be sure – but whatever they are, they’ll be exactly as hot as Reapers.

Chomp a couple and see if they taste like Reapers.
