The package says that they are Carolina reapers and I think they are indeed. But I am a noob at identifying peppers so is it true?

Yes or 7 Pot Primos which are just as leathal
look like it! Mine I grew this year seem to have crossed with some thing and are bigger and taste slightly different but damn I love them just as much.
yes, they may be .. we all got familiar with the classic shape of Carolina, but on a plant they come in various shapes (few of them come more elongated) and sizes .. based on my experience.. had 3 plants, all of them produces variations
Yes and they will destroy your soul
To clarify, I won’t eat them (even though the package says “eat me”). I will try to germinate their seeds and make a bonchi. My dad wants to eat them even though he doesn’t eat spicy food so I have to hide them from him.
Extremely painful and delicious.
Man, I’m so jealous, give one to me
It’s plausible they are Reapers.
There are quite a few varieties that look exactly like this, so we can’t be sure – but whatever they are, they’ll be exactly as hot as Reapers.
Scotch bonnet?
Yes
Chomp a couple and see if they taste like Reapers.
