Yum! This thing is crispy (as the name implies) on the outside and creamy on the inside. Chicken was seasoned good and still warm by the time I got home. 10 years ago this would $1.50 Max but 3.69 at my location is too much to experience again. Thank you taco bell for the cheap meal and taste at the new item.

If it was 1.50 or even 2.00 id have gotten probably 10-15 since release. Ive gotten 4 and 1 was free.Â

Bro that is definitely overpriced. Check this. I could go to the Westside of Cleveland here in Ohio. Yeah Cleveland, Ohio and walk down the first street off of the freeway and walk it, finding tons of Puerto Rican food carts and houses that will sell me these for $1 a pop. TB is criminal now.

It was fine, too expensive, and the buffalo bite things from sonic are better.
I did not enjoy it either. My t bell is notorious for not changing out fryer oil (looking at you 2200 West Edmond) but today I didn’t taste old oil. The item itself was not enjoyable. Crispy, yes. Flavorful, no. It tastes like gas station cheese sauce with Taco Bell chicken. Not very good. I wouldn’t even pay $2 for this

For $1, it was alright. It’s just a disappointment because the grilled cheese burrito last week was MILES better. I much rather pay 4.89 for that than 3.49 for this

I tried it the day it came out. I thought it was ok, but nothing special. There was barely any chicken in mine and the price was too high for what was offered. I won’t be getting it again and won’t be sad when it’s gone.
At $1 it’s worth getting just for the fact that you can swap out the sauce and drown it in Creamy Jalapeno, so yeah, this was my one and most likely only time buying it.
I tried it today for $1 too. It was crispy, really hot, but I just didn’t care for the chicken filling all that much tbh. It wasn’t bad or gross, I just didn’t think it was particularly good. Glad I tried it though.
I agree it’s not bad for $1-1.50. But paying full price for it though.

I was excited to get one for $1 but the app glitched on me so I just got my regular order. I agree though, it’s a great item and quite tasty, but for the price it’s not worth it compared to other deals you can get.
They were $1 today through the app from 2pm to 3pm. Pretty good for $1, but no way in hell worth $3.79 lol

For $1, it’s a great add-on. For $3.99, it’s a hard pass. I can get 3 CBRs for 50 cents more
Worst menu item in history imo. Paid $3.59 for it and it came hard as a rock cold and with less than a quarter of chicken you got. I’d personally feel scammed paying $1 for it.

I guess it’s just me, but the fact that from a taste and sensory perspective the shell is identical to a caramel apple empanada so it caused my brain to rejoice, then shot me into intense disappointment, makes it a no for me, Dog.
I wasn’t even a huge fan of the caramel apple empanada (although it’s vastly better than the cinabon caca bites). It was just popular during a very nostalgic time for me. Early in my marriage when TB was having it’s rebirth with the XL grilled stuffed burrito and the chicken Baja gordita + very awesome value menu items. We were poor AF and we could enjoy TB twice a week!
