Hi everyone, I am new to the sub and been dabbling with hot sauce since about 2 years now.
I live in Europe but while I stayed in NYC 3 months ago I bought a few bottles at Heatonist including the Mellow Habanero Yuzu Heaven. I know not everyone loves this one but I found it absolutely perfect for my lunch bowls (usually sushi rice, cabbage and halloumi), mixed with honey, rice vinegar and soy sauce. The heat level is just right, and I love the citrusy taste.
Sadly my bottle is now empty, and before I consider spending way too much money to import it, I want to know whether anyone has a recommendation for a possible replacement? A citrusy or at least fruity and very hot sauce, easy to work in asian-ish recipes.
