First off, thanks to this subreddit because this is probably the only place where I could’ve gained knowledge of Down to Ferment.
The flavors of these sauces are very likely something you’ve never tasted before. I’ll do a quick review for all of them.
Cherry Poppins: Everything that’s said in the description and the recommended pairings are all completely spot on. I just tried this on smoked ribs and holy shit it’s good.
That’s What Shishito Said: This sauce has an incredible and complex flavor. It’s straight umami. I’ve tried it on everything, but it’s so good that I’m searching for my favorite pairing to dump the rest of the bottle on. I can taste why it won an award.
Beet Your Meat: This sauce tastes like sweet earth. With the main ingredients being two root vegetables it’s no surprise. I might be weird, but I put it on salad.
Dadbod: Instant bold flavor, almost overwhelming. Pair this with another bold food such as an Italian sub and it’s just incredible. Best sub I’ve ever had.
Smokin’ Hot Date: Sweet, flavorful, red pepper sauce without a vinegar taste. This is probably the “daily driver” of DTF’s lineup. Goes on everything.
Haban-Guero Pina: This is where the heat starts. Very pineapple forward then you get the heat and flavor of habanero. Goes crazy on al pastor tacos. It’s a sauce, but still don’t put it on pizza.
Ghosted: very hot and very flavorful. I easily pickup on the cumin and pepper flavor. Excellent carne asada taco sauce.
Carolina Creeper: Currently burning its way out of me. It’s sriracha made with Carolina reapers. That’s it, and it’s incredible. Somehow, despite being in a barrel for 6 months, tastes very fresh.

Awesome review!! Any recommendations on a flavorful hot sauce with a good kick but that’s not too overwhelming?? And where do you buy your hot sauces from??
Absolutely love the sauces they make and their whole concept.
Smokin Hot Date and Ghosted are so good, I really had to ration those out. Beet Your Meat was interesting but just not for me flavor-wise. Planning to get more once I make room in the fridge.
Love them! Always a top recommendation. The dad bod might be my favorite due to its unique flavor, but everything I’ve had from them is so good

Creeper sauce sent me into panic mode. The hottest siracha style sauce I’ve ever had. Ryan and Sam cook up some diabolical delicious stuff
