INGREDIENTS:

100grams dried Chili Pepper
1 big whole garlic
1 ½ cup of Sunflower oil

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare your Chilies. You can either dry them or use a fresh one. It is up to you, I prefer to fry mine for a more crispy and better storage. I find using fresh chili makes the shelf life shorter.

Remove the stem of the Chilies.

Cut out the chili and remove the seeds.

Once done removing the seeds, cut the chilies into flakes or use a food processor and crush them for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

You can use a garlic press if you have, it makes it easier to crush the garlic.

In a pan, add the sunflower oil. Or you can use whatever oil of your choice.

Make sure that the pan is not too hot when you add the garlic or the garlic will burn immediately.

Add the Chili Flakes and cook it for about 4-5 minutes under low fire or until the garlic is golden brown.

Remember to cook it slowly and under low fire for better taste.

Cool it down before transferring to a jar and store it in a cool dry place.

Enjoy it with any of your favorite meals!

Good Day Vegans, welcome back to our channel. We are happy to share with you my personal favorite condiment that I love to add to any of my food specially fried tofu or baked vegetables to level up the flavors.

I have been drying these chili peppers for about 3 weeks now inside our house. I just basically thread it and hang it somewhere with direct sunlight and now it is ready to be made into Chili garlic sauce.

I will start by removing the stem of the chili peppers and cutting it open to also remove the seeds.

Once done, don’t throw out your seeds because you can plant them for more chili peppers! I will also try to plant mine here in Europe and share with you guys how it grows.

Once all the seeds are out, cut the chilies into small flakes or better grab your food processor and just crush it for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Next grab one big whole garlic. Clean it and cut it into small pieces. If you have a garlic presser, things will be a lot easier crushing the garlic.

Also, feel free to add more garlic if you like, garlic is one of my favorites too. Make sure to leave it for about 15 minutes before cooking. Crushed garlic releases allicin which is very beneficial for our health and immune system.

Now add oil in the pan. I am using sunflower oil but you are free to use whatever oil of your choice. Remember, don’t make you pan too hot or you will immediately burn the garlic when you add them.

Once garlic is added, you can add the chili flakes and cook it for about 4-5 minutes in low fire or until you see that the garlic is golden brown.

Cool it down before transferring to a jar and store it in a cool dry place.

Enjoy it with any of your favorite food. Fried rice, Crispy tofu, steamed vegetables, noodles and many more!
