Leaves turning yellow

My two pepper plants are not doing great. Its my first time growing them. Their leaves are very bright green and some of the older ones have slowly started turning yellow. The leaves are also somewhat wrinkly and have a few brown spots. I use nitrogen fertilizer every once in a while on them but I'm not sure what the reason behind their sickly appearance is. Maybe you guys can help me out?

One is a citron chilli (which already has plenty fruits) and the other one a Carolina reaper(which seems to be shortly before flower). I bought them about a month ago from a store when the citron was just starting to flower.
