These are a couple of bottles I opened up recently.
Tabasco Roasted Pepper is mostly a miss for me. I can see some people really liking it if they like sweeter sauces though.
I opened it up at about the same time as I did Firelli Italian Hot Sauce and there are a lot of similarities. Both are balsamic vinegar heavy, both have Italian flavors. I personally think the Firelli is the better sauce though, it’s not as sweet as the Tabasco and it has a fuller flavor and better texture.
The Tabasco sauce uses way too many powdered ingredients so it’s sort of gritty in terms of texture.
On the other hand Torchbearer Habanero Evil is great.
It’s not very hot, very medium in heat, and differs from their other medium heat habanero sauces by not including oranges, carrots, etc. it’s just habaneros, garlic, vinegar, black pepper, and onions.
It’s not super vinegar heavy, and the black pepper flavor really comes through which I love. Nice habanero flavor as well.
Great super flexible sauce that adds some heat without blowing your mouth up and could go on a wide variety of dishes.
