I think the consensus here is that Scoville ratings are bs.

Ime no “super spicy” or “ghost pepper flavored” etc chips or snacks from a grocery store that are actually very hot. Doesn’t mean they’re not good, I loved the ghost pepper Chex mix, but they weren’t nearly as spicy as the package would have you believe

Might be an inconsistent product, peppers can range drastically in how hot they are. I’ve had jalapenos that tasted like a bell pepper and I’ve had some that are hotter than habs. Idk if super hots can vary as much though
