This chili recipe is my husband’s very FAVORITE chili recipe of all time. I want to share it with you. Make this chili for your husband. Or your man, boyfriend, partner, significant other. Or for your wife. Or your family and friends. You know what I mean. Whoever you are…make this chili.
INGREDIENTS:
3-4 large cloves garlic
1 small green pepper
1 large onion
very finely chop all of the above
rendered bacon fat, 1-2 tablespoons
1 lb. ground round, 73% lean
1 link of hot Italian sausage, removed from the casing
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin
1 can seasoned black beans, undrained
1 can pinto beans, drained
4 cups stewed tomatoes
1 heaping teaspoon sugar
