We bought ours at a local family owned mexican grocery. I've been reading through different posts and i haven't come across with one with as many deep holes as ours. Initially before seasoning i noticed it had a weird smell (kinda metallic but i'm not sure). It holds water pretty ok (it didn't seem to drip when i tried putting water in during rinsing).
