Was browsing Kroger’s international food section in Houston and saw this sambal sauce. Never seen this brand in Indonesia so decided to give it a go. Checked its website, looks like the entries only went back as far august 2023. So I guess its a new brand.
Paired it with typical Indonesian menu. Rice with chicken. In this case, Kroger’s rotisserie chicken and crispy chicken.
The sambal itself tastes OK. Spicy level is low. A tad bit above sriracha. The spicyness is the same of sambal sauces that we usually have in l KFC, MCD or any other fast food places in Indonesia. Its not as thick as what I’m used to from Sambal ABC or Belibis. Good as substitute if I ever run out of ABC or Belibis.
