  1. Well, itโ€™s 1030 at night but I decided after watching your video I was gonna have to go cook that ground beef I had in my refrigerator. I didnโ€™t put as many beans in mine as you did. I just put one can of pinto (iโ€™m a Texas girl after all). I was wondering how long do you cook it once you get all your spices and everything in. Itโ€™s 1115 now and Iโ€™m gonna cook 15 more minutes and then Iโ€™m gonna hit the hay. Thanks for the inspiration Brenda you are amazing and I only have one of your cookbooks. Iโ€™m gonna have to order me your new one for Christmas.

  2. hi Brenda!! your Chili looks so Delicious. I like making big batches as I can freeze for later this winter. Love your channel. thank you for the video.

  3. I like dark kidney beans and Iโ€™m with you on lots of onions and i like a little celery too!

  4. I like Kidney, Black, and Pinto beans in mine. If I make a smaller batch, I skip on the Pinto. I also add chopped bell pepper along with the onion(s). In addition to diced tomatoes, I use Vegetable Juice, and instead of chili powder, I use a pack of Taco Seasoning and garlic powder, or actual minced garlic when sautรฉing onions. I like cornbread and/or soda crackers. I HATE OVERHEAD LIGHTS – I use nothing but lamps and indirect lighting. Even as a HS math teacher (I'm retired now), I only used 1/2 of overhead lights so kids could see the electronic board better. It also lowered the "intensity" of the room.
