No, it didn’t. The cotyledons are just still stuck in the seed shell. Wait a while for them to mostly grow out of the shell. If the shell is still stuck in a few days, place a water droplet on it, wait ten minutes for it to soak, then squeeze it open length-wise with tweezers. Then you can gently pull it off.
