Transplant Day

Growing in coco is awesome. All of these going into 1 gal pots sprouted about 5 weeks ago. Hopefully they will last for another ~2 months in these pots before they go outside…. I don't really have the room to pot up again so we shall see

Coco definitely lets roots go faster, but I just can’t get the leaf/plant growth to take off. I started Peppers in January in straight Coir, feeding with FF big Bloom as they suggest. I started another round of peppers approx 6 weeks later in 50/50 CocoCoir/Happy Frog and haven’t fed them at all. The younger plants are 4x the size of those in Coco. Perhaps I’m underfeeding the coco coir starts out of fear.
