This weekend’s newsletter is about using lighter, brighter spring ingredients to make one of our favourite weeknight meals, chilli con carne. We absolutely love chilli in our house, and eat it at least once every couple of weeks but it can start to feel odd making the traditional version as the days get warmer and sunnier.
This recipe, with ground chicken, tons of herbs, lots of citrus and white beans, still has many of the same notes while feeling fresher and lighter.

Hey @theplantslant2431 look, beans
Sometimes I have the feeling that you are just making up recipes on the spot when you film these videos, but they somehow turn out perfect and probably tasty nonetheless 😅
I like fennel every where u cook 😉 So rare 😉
❤
This might your first dish with no mustard!
Valid
With Poblano chiles, would have been amazing 😊
Flipping heck
So good
You know what's up with that citrus blast at the end before plating! Works for red chili too, rounds it out so nicely. This is excellent stuff
Fucking guy loves fennel
What herbs were added during cooking?
Fkn love this dude
This man loves his leeks.
Now, this is one that I already make. The only thing missing is the lemon.
Def going to try this.
Where do you consistently get nice leeks?
U can tell this guy cooking from the heart
Ну и шляпа 🤣🤦♂️
that was the juiciest lemon i’ve ever seen
Never once recognized a dish this dude makes but every time looks fire
Херни какой-то наварят, потом натужно крехтят от удовольствия.
You're one of my favorite cooking channels on youtube and I've only come across your videos in the last two weeks. I love the slower, more thoughtful editing you do, compared to other channels where everything just happens in a flash. Of course the food looks great as well haha
1000% making this. Never seen a chili like this before.
I feel like beans is always used
Have to say this prolly the only one I can’t get with
looks like such a tasty contrast to a traditional chilli
White beans and white wine
If "requests" are a thing: if you have the inspiration for a salad with grapefruit in it I'd be all ears, I can’t figure out one that’s special and I'm sure you would!
Recipe
Adding the beans without rinsing is disgusting
Between your amazing cuisine and unique videography I am always impressed by you brother. Cheers 🍻
Omg yum, I was like wow leeks is a great choice, then I was like WOW fennel too delicious. Definitely going to try making something similar soon
Ur videos r soo yellow but really fantastic
Fire
Anaheim > whatever those are
Ok i tried it! My sauce was way more watery did you add flour? It’s not in the recipe.
Too many spices
I don't know if my palate could recognize all of it
Damn, that looks good… shame there’s not a single carb, lost marks for that
Can’t quite tell if it’s pork or chicken?
Just made this. Delicious
🤢🤮
This guy is insane. One of the best chefs I’ve ever seen
bro, your filming skills are juste insane, absolue cinema and i mean it
This one isn't in your book
Theres no way this tastes good
