Are these the diablo dusted nuggets?

Twice I have tried to order them. The first time I believe I just got regular nuggets. It's hard to be sure as I don't usually get the nuggets and was dunking them in the sauces which are hot. But a friend of mine said they were significantly spicy.

So this time I went to a different restaurant to order them again and I get home to see again brown nuggets. I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong but before I raise a stink I just want to make sure I'm not crazy. The picture makes them look bright red, but are they actually? Because they aren't really spicy at all.
