First time grower of Shishito peppers. Looks like it's going to be a heavy producer.
Is that typical of Shishitos?
I'm trying to show the amount of flowers that are on a single plant but it's hard to get all the flowers in the image. But if I had to guess I'd say there's probably 25 to 30 flowers and and a handful of peppers that are already a couple inches long.
All they're only a foot tall.

I might be wrong, but maybe you should be plucking flowers until it gets a little bigger. It’s putting a lot of energy into those peppers.
It’ll drop flowers if it can’t handle them. I’m also growing shishitos for the first time last year. I hope mine look like yours soon! There’s a couple plants thriving under my grow lights and eager to be put out.
Yes. I have a hybrid fish pepper shishito and it has the best of both worlds, it produces a ton of fruits like a shishito and they are as spicy as a fish pepper. The leaves are not variegated, the peppers are only very faintly striped if you look close and they very rarely taper at the end and are rounded instead. Me and my buddy are trying to stabilize it: the “Fishito”
