A super aromatic and flavour-packed rice recipe made with homemade masala powder 😋
🥜 For the masala powder:
• 1/2 cup peanuts
• 5–7 red chillies
• 3 tsp coriander seeds
• 2 tsp sesame seeds
• Curry leaves
• Small piece of tamarind
➡️ Dry roast everything and blend into a fine powder.
🍳 For the rice:
• Heat oil in a pan
• Add whole biryani spices
• Add 2 sliced onions and sauté well
• Add finely chopped capsicum
• Add salt, turmeric & red chilli powder
• Cook until the capsicum softens
🍚 Add cooked rice and mix gently.
✨ Now add the freshly prepared masala powder for that rich aromatic flavour.
🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot! 😍
