This is a half portion-
1/2 lb ground beef, browned & drained
1/2 cup diced tomatoes, undrained
Half of a 15.5 oz can northern beans, drained & rinsed
Small long carrot, peeled, sliced , & boiled 5 minutes
8 oz can of tomato sauce
1 cup kale
6 oz or 3/4 cup water
Half 1.25 oz packet reduced sodium chili seasoning
Mix the above well & simmer on the stovetop 15-20 minutes
Noodles-
1/2-1 cup egg noodles, cooked & drained
Season with unsalted butter, cracked pepper, & dried parsley flakes to taste
In a bowl, put a layer of prepared noodles, top the noodles with a layer of chili, & garnish with shredded mild cheddar cheese
