I’ve been making chili for over 20 years and I don’t think I’ve used the exact same ingredients twice. Using what I had around the house, I added some heat and balanced it with OJ, smoked cinnamon and honey. I seared ground turkey and beef with espresso powder and added coffee and beer.
This recipe produced a warm, hardy chili that is perfect for a cold winter evening.
