Have a taste of mexico in your home kitchen!
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked or canned red/kidney beans
300g of ground beef (or vegan ground beef)
2.5 cups tomato sauce + salt to taste
1 chopped red onion
3 crushed garlic cloves
1 chopped red bell pepper (capsicum)
1 chopped jalapeno
3 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (i used a small can of la costena brand)
2 tbsp of your choice of oil (i used avocado oil)
Salt to taste
Spices:
1 tbsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon – it gives an earthy taste
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tbsp Paprika
1 tbsp Smoked paprika – it gives that warm wintery flavour!
