This Beefy Bourbon Chili is based off of a recipe I got from Jim Beam’s web site quite some, I’m e time ago and to be honest, I’m not even sure how close I am to the original. lol
Anyway… Here is my version.
BEEFY BOURBON CHILI
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 stalk celery, diced
1 15-ounce can, Diced tomatoes
1 14-ounce can kidney beans
2-3 tablespoons chili pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/4 cup tomato juice
1/4 cup ounces Jim Beam® Bourbon
1 16-ounce can tomato Sauce
PREPARATION
In a large pan, brown beef. Pour off fat. Add garlic, onions, pepper, and celery. Sauté lightly. Add remaining ingredients and simmer gently about one hour. Serves 6-8.
