How to make a simple, quick and easy chili

Chili is a great food for fall, winter or just anytime the mood hits! For me, it’s also a favorite to go with hotdogs year round! For this recipe, I used a pound of ground beef, browned and drained. I seasoned it with dried minced onion, garlic powder, taco seasoning, cumin, black pepper and of course chili powder. I added a can of tomato sauce and about 1 and a half cans of water. I also added 2 cans of mixed chili beans. I brought the chili to a boil and then reduced the heat to low and let it simmer about 15 minutes, checking and stirring it often. You can definitely let it cook longer to bring out more flavor!
