INGREDIENTS
for 6-8 people
1 lb ground beef
1 onion (chopped)
1 1/2 cups water
1 (14.5 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (14.5 oz) can stewed tomatoes
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans (light or dark red)
1 (15 oz) can) black beans
Dash salt ( your liking)
Dash pepper (to your liking)
Dash garlic powder (to your liking)
Dash chili powder (to your liking)
STEP 1.
In a pan, cook onion and ground beef together.
STEP 2.
Once cooked, put the cooked ingredients into a large pot, and add the stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans(drained), black beans (drained), water, and spices.
STEP 3.
Stir together, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes. Serve with warm cornbread.
