Sweet Chilli Sauce Recipe- simply the best chili sauce ever! Thai Chili Sauce |

It’s so satisfying making your Sweet Chili Sauce at home. No recipe can be simpler than this. Once you make this you will always make it on your own and will never buy from the store. It’s healthier and cheaper than the store-bought one. This can be used as a dipping sauce for spring rolls, fried chicken, or any fried food and can be used for cooking.

Ingredients:
1. Dried Red Chili 5
2. 4 Cloves of Garlic finely chopped
3. Hot water 1 ½ cups
4. Sugar ½ cups + 2 tsp
5. White Vinegar ½ cup
6. Salt ¼ tsp
7. Cornstarch slurry (1tbsp+ ½ tsp cornstarch mixed with 2tbsp+1 tsp cold water)

Method:
1. Soak chilies in 1 cup hot water for at least 15 minutes
2. Blend chillies (2-3 pulse, don’t over blend)
3. In a pot add blended chilli paste, ½ cup hot water, chopped garlic, sugar, vinegar, and salt
4. Turn on the heat
5. Cook on high heat for 5-6 minutes or until the liquid starts to boil
6. Add cornstarch slurry and keep stirring on high heat for 6-7 minutes or until it has reached to desired consistency.
7. Remove from the heat, let the sauce cool down completely
8. Store in a container and can be kept in the fridge up to many months.
9. Serve with your favourite snacks.

Tip: Don’t forget to open the window while blending the chilli and be prepared to sneeze and cough😊
