Here is a simple recipe for a basic Texas Red Chili. While this video features the method we use to make Hot Dog Chili (no beans) it can be built upon to make a variety of Texas chilis.This recipe uses fresh spices and in our opinion is better than the chili packets you find in the store. Making Chili is an art form and each cook has their own way of making great chili, however we just wanted to make a video of a basic red chili that you can use to start as a base for your own recipe. This makes a great Hot Dog Chili and is wonderful anywhere a basic chili is needed.
