Ingredients
SIOMAI
– 1 1/4 LB ground pork
– 1 carrot
– small onion
– 4 clove garlic
– small singkamas
– 1 egg
– 1 tbsp cornstarch
– 1 tbsp black ground pepper
– 2 tbsp soy sauce
– 1 cup water
– 2 tbsp cooking oil
CHILI GARLIC SAUCE
– 1 cup olive oil
– 1 head garlic
– 3 tbsp red pepper flakes
Instruction
SIOMAI
– Combine ground pork, carrot, singkamas, inion and garlic mix by hand
– Add egg, black ground pepper, soy sauce and cornstarch mix all together by hand
– To wrap. put half tbsp of the filling in the middle of the wrapper, add water in the edge of the wrapper using your pointer finger, make a triangle shape and push out air bubble
– Heat pan in medium heat and place the siomai
– Mix water and cooking oil pour in the pan
– Simmer for 5mins
– Remove lid
– Continue simmer for 5 mins or until water is dry
– SIOMAI IS READY!
CHILI GARLIC SAUCE
– In medium heat pan
– Add olive oil and garlic
– Toast garlic for 3 mins
– Add red pepper flakes and toast for another 3 mins
– SERVE AND ENJOY!
