I once bought this salsa and it absolutely made me sweat, and I’m Mexican who loves spicy salsas. Then I bought it a few more times and it was never spicy as the first time. I still enjoyed it but I wish I could find that “extra hot” again.

This is the salsa that got me into making my own salsa. I liked salsa before but this one had me coming back over and over. I was buying a couple containers a week when I lived across the street from Trader.
Growing 6 or 7 varieties of tomatoes and about the same amount of peppers, can’t wait to experiment with home grown veggies.

Yeah, I read the “hot” on the label and 100% did not give it it’s due respect just cause it’s a grocery store salsa and I didn’t bother to mentally process the named pepper types. I brought it to a freaking potluck and people were legitimately mad at me. “Like bro you said you’d handle chips and salsa. How do you fuck that up?” No one except me and one or two other people could even eat it.

Pepper palace death by salsa is the hottest I’ve ever had. I only keep it to Mix with other things as it is inedible on its own.

It’s my favorite from Trader Joe’s! My old favorite USED to be the green Serrano pepper salsa, but they changed the recipe in like 2018 or something because I noticed it’s always super watered down now. Like, it used to be semi thick like the ghost pepper salsa, but now it’s thin and runny like water. So depressing.
