Roasting on the grill and grinding on the molcajete really add up to great flavor. Tried getting a bit too fancy and used heirloom tomatoes and I’m sticking with Roma next time. (Also added a dried smoked Ancho)

What’s the disadvantage of using a “fake” molcajete…? I was gifted one that I don’t believe is “real” lava rock
