Created a spicy (top) and mild (bottom) salsa verde. Took tomatillos and jalapenos from my garden. Started by de-seeding peppers and broiling for 12 min. Spicy consists of 1lb tomatillo, 2 jalapeno, 4 serrano, and 1/2 white onion. Mixed with 1 lime juice and a handful of cilantro. Mild consists of 1lb tomatillo, 1 jalapeno, and 1/2 white onion. Mixed with 1 lime juice, handful cilantro and 1 avocado (suggested for creamy texture by another user on this group). This was my first ever salsa and I gotta say after tasting I am hooked! Thanks to this group for inspiring me to try a garden and make a salsa verde. See you again next season.
