  1. Made some salsa with my new-ish smoker.

    5 beefsteak tomatoes

    2 serranos

    1 poblano

    2 red peppers from our CSA… no idea what they were

    1 red onion

    1.5 heads of garlic

    Smoked over charcoal with some cherry wood chunks for about 75m @ 250f.

    Added lime and cilantro after blending.

    Suuuper good! Forgot to buy chips, so ended up just being a topping for some smoked chicken and salad. Salsa is the best salad dressing!

    Looks great! I didn’t like the smoked onions when I did it, so I started adding them raw after. I love all that garlic!

    Is it necessary to peel tomatoes before blending?

    Would you happen to recall where you got that pan from?

    Or is the flat one with holes has a specific name.
