Can vary by taste, but this is what I have perfected it to. My entire family loves it. You can add or remove the jalapenos as you desire.
6-7 Roma tomatoes (quartered)
1/2 Large onion (cut in pieces)
4-5 Cloves of garlic (they peel much easier when placed in a tub of hot water for 10 minutes). Crush each clove.
1/2 Jalapeno or 1 whole (quartered). Depending on your tolerance.
A pinch of cumin
2 Tablespoons of cilantro
1/2 Teaspoon of salt
1 whole lemon squeezed juice
Place all in a food processor. Slowly pulse all of it together. Keep pulsing, until all of it looks/feels/smells and tastes like salsa. I have done a few different recipes over time and this is thee best one for us.

Teaching them how to make salsa is a gift that keeps on giving! I’m in a very different phase of life but this makes me happy, cheers to you and your grandkids.

Salsa always tastes better when you char your veggies.

Do you have more info on your canning method? I didn’t think you could can salsa that’s been in the food processor.

It’s a great sentiment but just be wary about posting pictures of children online. Lots of reasons.
