    I had ribeye tacos with bone marrow, grilled onions, and habanero salsa with Parmesan fries in Merida. Best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. Chilaquiles with Cochinita Pibil, chili verde, pickled red onion and black bean refritos too. Most of the seafood on that list is available here, we’re 20 miles from the ocean.

    Nope. Marquesitas are a rather new dessert (invented in the 70’s) wich is made with a rolled ice cream cone (just the cone) and filled with dutch edam cheese (made in europe exclusively to export to Yucatan, you can’t get this variety anywhere in the world) any other toppings or fillings (including nutella and marmalades) are new additions.

    I really really don’t understand why the did not listed Cochinita Pibil, wich is one of the most iconic dishes in MExican cuisine!
