Hope this doesn’t come off as a troll post, but I searched “Great Value” and found nothing about this salsa here. I bought this after I stumbled upon it and my whole family is very impressed. It’s got good reviews on the app and in my opinion, it tastes fantastic. I’ve never had salsa from a can, but I’d recommend this to anybody.

You’re good , reviews of store bought salsas are allowed, we even have a post-flair for it. TBH I had no idea Walmart had a house brand canned salsa.
Interesting, I’ll have to try it. At the very least a good base for playing around with.
Thanks, I don’t know how I’ve never seen that.
Thanks, this would be good to addition to my emergency supplies.
Only $1.12 for 14.5oz, I agree it’s a no brainer to try. Here’s the description:
Great Value Fire Roasted Tomato Salsa is the perfect way to turn up the flavor in all your favorite recipes. Spice up your parties, game day barbecues, and picnics with the tantalizing smoky taste of fire roasting. This salsa is delicious in guacamole, on top of burritos and nachos, or as a dip with tortilla chips. The ripe tomatoes in this salsa are grown exclusively by family farmers located in the sunny Central Valley of California, picked at the peak of freshness and canned within five hours to maintain that farm-fresh taste. Made from a zesty recipe with diced jalapeño, Anaheim peppers, onions, garlic, and finished with spices, this salsa is sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
Tbh I’m shocked how much canned shit/recommendations I see for a self declared snobby sub.
We buy the jarred great value medium restaurant style. It’s a fav of ours! Gotta try this canned one!
Then I no longer value your opinion
I never heard of this sub but this showed up in my feed.
The idea that there is a sub called r/salsasnobs yet the sub is ok with packaged salsa is a little funny.
Apparently I’m too much of a salsa snob for r/salsasnobs.
Is it spicy?
Good I’m taco meat!!
It’s really good. I eat it straight out of the can sometimes just for a snack. It’s enough to satisfy an itch without having to build your own salsa from scratch.
No, please noooooooo
If it looks like what’s on the can then I’ll have to pick up a few! Perfect looking consistency. I’m Mexican and have never been a snob about this. If it taste good it taste good.
This stuff is amazing. I always buy 5 cans at a time because I’m scared they’re going to stop selling it. It’s sold in the diced tomato section and also rings up as diced tomatoes at the register. It’s really a hidden gem.
I actually bought a can of this stuff. I posted [review](https://www.reddit.com/r/SalsaSnobs/comments/13edvot/walmart_fireroasted_salsa_canned_review/?sort=new) for those who want the details but:
TL;DR: Save your $1.12. While the ingredients look reasonable, the actual salsa has next to no heat and is quite mushy. 2/10: Would not buy again. In fact I won’t even finish the can. For a bit more than a dollar it was worth a test.
