I was always put off by the idea of fish tacos, until my wife and I were at this seaside taco joint that had a mix tray special going on with two-fer margaritas.
It was crispy fried grouper and a mango jalapeño salsa. And nothing else. On soft corn tortillas. And it was fuckin amazing.
Yours reminded me of that, and now I’ve got to make the trek back there once the weather warms up!

Next time, also add a diced up fresh mango to it, gives it another fruity dimension, even better on fish/shrimp tacos.

This looks amazing! What is the recipe?

I need to try this one day. Would you say it goes well with ahi tuna or should I stick to mild fish like cod?

what makes this salsa and not pico? I thought salsa had to be more like… liquidy
HektorFromTroy
This is pico de gallo not salsa, salsa is in liquid format usually similar to hot sauce but in a traditional/rustic way.

Highly important question…what type/brand of knife is that? Reminds me of my Misen knives, except it looks like a santoku, which they make, but the handle doesn’t look quite right for Misen.
