    That does not look like a tostada. It looks like a very sad and poor sope.

    That’s not a tostada, that’s a sope con chorizo. Sopes are small disks of fried masa topped with beans, cream, cheese and a protein. In this case, it’s chorizo.

    It looks like salbutes from Yucatán. Homemade corn tortilla soft fried, topped with some meat. We had al pastor. This is probably chorizo.

    This looks like a sope w/ frijoles, chorizo (ground meat NOT necessarily of lesser quality but seasoned with spices and chiles to give it the red appearance), queso and other toppings. If you’ve not tried a good sope, you have not lived.
