Viral Momo “No Dough, No Steam” 🥟❤️
This viral momo is taking over the internet, and yes — it’s worth the hype.
Super easy to make and tastes exactly like restaurant-style momos, without the fuss of kneading or steaming.
INGREDIENTS:
✨ Oil
✨ Ginger
✨ Garlic 🧄
✨ Green Chillies 🔥
✨ Onion 🧅
✨ Capsicum 🫑
✨ Carrot 🥕
✨ Cabbage 🥬
✨ Salt
✨ Black Pepper
✨ Red Chilli Paste
✨ Paneer
✨ Maida
✨ Water
✨ Cornflour optional, if stuffing feels soggy
RECIPE:
1. Prepare the stuffing — Sauté ginger, garlic, chillies, onion, and veggies. Add paneer, salt, pepper, and red chilli paste. Mix well.
2. Cool completely — Let the stuffing reach room temperature.
3. Shape into balls — Make small, tight momo balls from the mixture.
4. Coat and dip method — First coat each ball in maida. Dip in ice-cold water for 1 second, take out immediately. Coat with maida again. Repeat this dip-and-coat process 3 times total.
5. Cook — Drop into boiling water for 7 to 10 minutes until they float and look translucent. You can optionally steam them too.
6. Serve hot — Pair with chilli oil, momo chutney, or schezwan sauce.
💡 VISHESH TIPPANI:
1. Always use ice-cold water for the dip — it helps the coating set instantly.
2. If your stuffing feels soggy or loose, mix in 2 to 3 tbsp of cornflour to bind it.
Trust me, you’re going to love this hack.
