1. Take 1 onion. Cut it into cubes. Now add the diced onion to a blender 2. Now add grated fresh/dry coconut to the same blender 3. Add 1 tbsp tamarind and jaggery extract in the blender. If you don’t have the extract, you can directly add – one 1 small ball of tamarind and 1 small ball of jaggery 4. Add salt and also red chilli powder as per taste. Blend all the ingredients together. 6. Remove it in a bowl and keep it aside. 5. In a small pan, heat 2 tbsp oil. In the hot oil add 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 pinch hing/asafoetida, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder. 6. Turn off the heat and pour the tempering on the raw onion blend. 7. Serve the raw onion salsa/dip and enjoy
