Smoked Mango Habanero salsa


I got a new smoker, so decided to try smoked salsa. It’s a game changer and the flavor is very complex. Smoked 3 cloves of garlic, 7 habaneros, 3 Roma tomatoes, 1/4 of a white onion and 2 jalapeños. Smoked at 225 degrees for 2 hours using cherry wood. Once smoked, added a chopped up mango, some lime juice, cilantro and salt to taste to the blender. Delicious!

    Yum yum yum. I have been thinking of making a mango salsa myself, haven’t made any. How do I incorporate mango to my existing recipe?
