How do I clean a molcajete and get rid of this purple stain inside the bowl?
Dug out my mum’s old molcajete from the dining room and I’d want to put some use into this thing once more. But then I saw this purple stain and would like to know how to remove it.

Does it seem to affect the flavor at all? If not then I would just leave it be.
