


225F for 90 minutes on my Masterbuilt 800
2 lbs tomatoes on the vine
4 poblanos, seeds removed
4 jalapeños, seeds removed
Probably too much garlic
2 red onions roughly chopped
2 bunch’s of Cilantro and the zest and juice of 2 limes after smoking.
Blended to combine
I think I’ll go for 60 minutes next time instead of 90. Bordering on too smokey, but it is SO GOOD. The garlic and red onion bring soo much flavor, a very subtle heat, as I want other people to enjoy the salsa it is perfect, if it were just for me I would have made it wayyy spicier.
Hoping to make some tweaks for next time but I love how this came out.

Just remember, it’s cool, whatever it is. We all had a first time smoking salsa. No one has ever died from smoking too much salsa. Breathe deeply and remember that we all love you.

Looks great! I love my masterbuilt 800. It feels like I’m cheating whenever I smoke or grill.
