Yummmm
A city that’s not afraid to put tamales inside bolillos. Not scared to make torta de chilaquiles. Bold enough to try tacos de tripa from a street place. A city that cures hangovers with the spiciest caldo de barbacoa.
I thought Oaxaca was the food capital of Mexico. This all looks amazing tho
Estoy de acuerdo
Laughs in Oaxaca
Cdmx is not even the best food in the region.
North dwelers will be Like “not the greatest food city in the world 😡”
My wife and I spent some time in Tulum this year and loved it. Our favorite was taking excursions and eating food in the town. We almost booked a trip in Mexico City right after and watched some YouTube videos to find out where popular taco spots are and try to stay in a hotel near there and to the other monuments etc. I was surprised how cheap the flight and hotel was going to be!
Nope
I went to Mexico City for the first time this past March. I was very proud of my people. The cuisine was just simply amazing. I couldn’t believe how good everything and yes I mean EVERYTHING was. Everything was tremendous from the street food to the fine dining. I will be coming back to CDMX many many times in my life hopefully. El Vilsito I’ll be back!!!
No city is even close
Lmao, chilangos and their condescending shit, mofos can’t even have public transport. Kidding aside, none of the dishes presente are local(outside putting whatever inside a piece of bread and removing cheese from quesadillas) nor their best version, u will find better food outside the capitol, but given safety concerns, those places w infinitely better food will remain hidden.
I have lived in Mexico for almost 6 yrs now. I finally visited CDMX to attend a Pat Metheny concert at the lovely Teatro Metroplotan. I was very impressed with the city. Incredible food…super clean historic district…very impressed with how cars are for the most part kept out of the centro…pretty much just electric busses, taxis and small delivery trucks. Looking fwd to next visit.
