This is the hottest salsa I’ve made, based on the pinned chipotle tacquera salsa recipe
3 roma tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
Sliver of white onion
Roasted on the hob in a lidded pan with a splash of water for 15 minutes
Then added 5 chipotle peppers (these were dried, so boiled them for 15 minutes) and 10 dried arbol chillis for 2 more minutes
Blended everything together and you’re done.
For me, this has a good 3-4 minute burn. Wouldn’t be rolling it out for guests unless I knew they liked spice, but could temper it with more tomatoes and fewer chillis
