I’ve been poking around with this pretty straightforward preparation for a while now, but it’s always been missing *something*. This time I tried it with sweet cherry tomatoes and I think that’s what’s been missing. The sugar really brings everything together. I don’t really have a recipe, but this is:
5 or 6 tomatillos
5 or 6 “on the vine” tomatoes
A handful of cherry tomatoes
5 or 6 jalapenos
a white onion (I cooked up 2, but only used the one)
