Yeah, it’s part of the eco packaging but why your cup isn’t the eco cup is curious.
The inside of the straw has a coating but it’s not designed to last forever. They need to put that same coating on each end. An inch of coating on each end would keep people from acting like there’s something wrong with it because it would feel just like the plastic ones they’re used to.

Id rather be given a paper straw than a paper nacho cheese cup. That was ridiculous, glad my TB stopped doing it.
