Turned out fantastic! Everything but the onion and chipotle, obviously, was homegrown.

Used 6 small to medium tomatoes

3 jalapeno, deseeded, but I kept a few seeds aside to add to the mix for extra heat

    One bell pepper

One sweet onion. Normally would use white, but my grocery store was out

    One bunch cilantro

A few chipotles in adobo sauce

    Lime juice

    Salt

Edit: and of course garlic. Don’t know how I forgot that and didn’t get it pictured

Broiled on high for 8 minutes. Then thrown into my processor along with cilantro and lime juice. Tasted great to start, but absolutely amazing after cooling down. Has a nice heat and an almost smoky flavor.

  2. Those are some beautiful peppers and tomatoes! Your salsa looks delicious.

La Morena chipotles are the correct chipotles.

Looks awesome! Growing onions is easy! They also store really well in a cool dark place. I haven’t bought onions from the grocery store in 3 years. I really want to grow my own garlic. Then I can have 100% homemade salsa!
