i was a senior in high school….working at taco bell…and one day, I’m on Drive Thru taking orders. Guy rolls up, you can hear a female voice behind him, a couple kids….whatever. They order normally, 3 soft taco meal. Crunch wrap supreme meal, and Chicken nacho Cheese gordita. He then asks for Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, we were out of the potatoes that day so i apologize and say I don’t have potatoes right now….and he goes “oh that’s too bad! what do i want instead??? let me get….FIFTY CHICKEN FLATBREADS…..” like sir…HOW is FIFTY CHICKEN FLATBREADS a replacement for 1 cheesy fiesta potato!? HOW DID YOU NOT ORDER THOSE FIRST!? i still get stressed thinking about it!
My GM actually over took the conversation on her headset and was like “i’m sorry, did you say FIFTY? 5-0- fifty?”

As others have said though, if they came back they would be like $3.49 and I could easily eat four of them and then be ready for the rest of the meal. Would absolutely break the bank today

OMG YES! I loved these bad boys but I always got the shredded chicken instead cause those chunks are so gross lol. They also did a buffalo one for like 2 weeks maybe 4 years ago that was so fucking good. I ate at TB everyday for those blissful 2 weeks.
Edit: thinking more on it, I think the buffalo one might have been a melt instead of flatbread đ¤
