I got them in a trade with someone local about a month back and they were extremely pale and a little leggy, but I still wanted them as I had been wanting to try an Aji/Baccatum pepper but hadn’t started any of my own.
I’ve been giving them fertilizer and three weeks ago I moved them into bigger pots outside. They’re looking a little better but still a little pale/yellowish and haven’t grown nearly as much as my other peppers.
Should I be giving them more nitrogen? Or something else? I’ve been giving them the same amount of fertilizer as my other peppers, which seem to be pretty happy and are growing much faster.
The soil that they’re is a mix of Fox Farm Happy Frog and compost in about a 3:2 ratio plus some perlite, vermiculite, and a bit of Espoma Tomato Tone fertilizer/nutrient granules (I used about half the amount recommend on the bag). I’ve been fertilizing with Miracle Gro 12-4-8 liquid plant food at slightly reduced (about 3/4) strength as i didn’t want to overdo it.
