Every day for what I think was two years, 2016-2017 I ate one of these. I have autism so my pallet is limited and when I love a food I LOVE a food. Imagine my tragedy when I went to buy a chalupa and got a dry taco shell with no oooy gooey yummy cheese baked into the shell. The shade of it all! How could they do this to me?! To all of us!!

You can’t tell me your autistic *palette* can only handle these ingredients arranged in this specific order and shape. All of these ingredients (aside from the shells which weren’t very good anyway) are available right now at Taco Bell.
What does being autistic have to do with anything? Literally every ingredient in this thing is available 100% of the time.
Wow one of the 12 people that actually liked the quesalupa. It’s a can’t miss idea in theory but considering 80% of them had virtually no cheese inside or they were insanely soggy like a chalupa that completely skipped the deep fry.
On the odd chance you got a solid one, the cracker texture they added to the shell overpowered the entire meal with its flavor.

You can make this at home with the dollar store gorditas next to the pitas. Once you fry them, they puff up just like the chalupa. Hopefully they bring it back.
They will bring it back by popular demand for a LTO, then charge $8.00 each.
