for $70 personally I would’ve just ordered 3 of the party packs or whatever they’re called and pigged out with my Ma and brother for a few days, but different family members like different things and such. Hope this gets resolved for you

I live close to a Taco Bell. I never order delivery, but I’ve placed orders several times on the app and then when I’d go to pick up the store would be randomly closed. 2pm, 8pm, doesn’t matter. They’d just have a sign posted saying gone for the day.

Same thing happened to me about a month ago. Never got any feedback. Wasted like 55$. Honestly at this point I can’t see any outcome other than people banding together for a class action suit. The app and company need to be responsible for what we order. They’re driving the prices up while also somehow missing and getting items wrong more than they ever have. Not to mention their app barely works, so all 3 fire rewards I’ve had in the past 2 months have expired because surprise; I can’t open them to use them, instead I get an error every single time. Taco Bell used to be my go-to favorite fast food place, now it’s an overpriced rip off.
For anyone that’s worked at TB, when someone like OP calls corporate and complains, is there any real repercussions for the store/employees?
That’s terrible. My wife will order Taco Bell late night sometime and 1 out of 10 times will they give us sauce. We specifically add the amounts in but they just refuse to give it. There’s no way Taco Bell wins the food war, Demolition Man was wrong
Taco bell has a support reddit account on reddit. And a twitter account. Just DM their online accounts on this issue. Give them your order number. Hopefully you have a receipt!

I put in a large order like this a couple months ago. I ended up breaking it down into 3 different orders and walked inside to pick them all up at once. Then checked each bag to make sure it was all correct. Everything was actually done well. If the lobby is closed, I’d still pull into a spot and check each bag one by one.
I’ve noticed if you put in a big order like this, they’ll try to put it all in the same bag and everything that’s got a crunchy shell will be crushed. I had one of these around Christmas for like a $50 order for the family. We found the Mexican Pizza underneath like 12 items. That thing was crushed and all the cheese was stuck to the top of the box. I wish employees would get trained on how to bag items.
Get a refund and go to a different store because those employees who prepared that seems like the type who would add something “special” to your order if they’re forced to redo it.
yeah i dont trust any taco bell with an order of anything more than 5 items max. I will only eat there if im going alone. Anyone else wants food and that option gets taken off the table.
You should go into the store yourself if you haven’t already. They should give you a refund on the spot.
I had this happen before with delivery through the Taco Bell app. Granted it wasn’t $70 worth of food. It was one missing item. Taco Bell sent me an ACTUAL apology card with a coupon for a free item in it 😂

Their support sucks. They legit got frustrated after I kept calling back everyday after telling me I was supposed to get a refund confirmation to my email and never did just to rid me. I’d never spend another dollar there it’s always a let down.

Not even worth ur time waiting on hold for 3hrs for $70 refund. I’ve spent more on dumber shit plenty of times. Accept the loss, eat what you can, don’t go back, enjoy your evening
Check the food before you leave. This way, if there is an issue, you can have them fix it right then and there.
I too had a $70 order that went awry – only mine didn’t get fulfilled at all. I submitted two online customer support requests and ultimately ended up getting help via 800-822-6235, if memory serves. Good luck!

One thing about inflation, at least in America, is that these companies will raise prices, but don’t do shit about the quality. Companies making record profits but don’t invest much of it back into the business. Like if you’re going to charge me double the cost for something at least hire people who care and use better ingredients

They were probably pissed y’all ordered so much. Happened when I worked there back in the day. The more people ordered the employees would have a meltdown about it lmao
